The world needs a searchable wiki of chess moves and this is phase one: code a simple chess board editor and display a list of stored chess moves which this app does. Start the app, open a new file document if needed, and begin by scrolling and tapping on a board similar to what you are looking for. Then Copy the board to preserve the original board. Then edit the board by dragging and dropping chessmen. Drag a piece off the board to remove it. When the pieces are in place, decide what the next move could be by clicking on the Color box to green for Start Here. Then click on the piece that will be moved; the Square now shows a green boarder! Next, click on the Color box to Red and select the square where the piece will move to; that square now has a Red boarder for Move Here!.
A Title at the top of the Edit chess board is changeable and will be displayed in the list of scrollable chess boards to help guide the search. Below the Edit chess board is a larger text area for adding a detailed description of this move; do as you like.
Below the description are the function buttons for cancelling, copying, setting and clearing the board.
A typical use: scroll to the board that is similar to your needs and tap on it to reveal the editor. Then, (Important), click the Copy Board button so that the original board does not get changed by oversight.
Edit the copy’s Title, Chess Board and Description then Save. At any time, cancel changes will not be saved.
